He was calm and patient throughout all of my lessons and always put me at ease. I was never afraid to ask questions (no matter how stupid!), and I was never made to feel awkward or pressured when I kept making the same mistakes. Whenever I got disheartened or frustrated with myself, Dave told me not to dwell on past mistakes and to just concentrate on the present which helped me to stay focused.
