The 30 Hour Manual Course
This course starts on a Monday and you take lessons very day until your driving test on the Friday (5 days).
ALL courses are on a 1-2-1 basis (no car sharing) and the test and course is GUARANTEED to be in a test centre local to Blackpool.
This course is NOT designed for complete beginners. There is 5 to 6 hours of driving each day and so we request that you have a minimum of 15 to 20 hours of previous driving experience and definitely some experience of driving in traffic.
The price of the course is £1230.00 – Only a deposit of £200 is required when you book
If you require a test on the last day of your course please add one to your booking.
We would request that you phone the office on 01253 899909 to book this course – we will arrange the date and test and allocate the instructor whilst you are on the phone.
When you phone to book we will request a £200 deposit as apposed to the full price of the course. The deposit will secure your date and the balance of your course becomes due 3 weeks prior to the course starting.
Remember we are a Driving School – NOT a booking agent. All our instructors work exclusively for BDS Driving School.
Please note – its important to book the correct course and be fully focussed throughout the course. If the instructor feels you have not reached the required DVSA Test Standard you may not be taken for your test and you will lose the DVSA test fee – as the DVSA require 3 clear working says to cancel or amend the test.

I just passed my test after doing the 30 hour intensive course with Simon Anson – definitely recommend as a very patient instructor who is easy-going and explains things very well.I have found learning to drive probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done – I left it late in life (38) because of issues relating to my autism, but I really wanted the independence and freedom of being able to drive. I’d tried several instructors before but the intensive course made such a difference in giving me the confidence behind the wheel, and helped everything click into place. It’s definitely the best way to learn if driving doesn’t come naturally to you.
