Finally passed my driving test today & all thanks to the support and guidance from Mandy who is a fabulous instructor. It had been more than a few years since I’d taken lessons so I decided to book a short intensive course and BDS came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! From my initial enquiry with Donna, to be being put in touch with my instructor Mandy, the communication was great and I had all my queries answered and before I knew it I was booked on the right course for me. As an instructor Mandy was friendly and calm, and had a great way of explaining things to me when I was looking a little confused. Mandy would push me to get the best out of me and ensure that I was driving to the best of my ability which overall has helped me feel more confident on test day! Thanks Mandy for everything, I will miss our lessons. For anyone considering learning to drive, look no further than BDS and I’d 100% recommend Mandy as an instructor!! 🚘

So glad to have learnt with Mandy at BDS Hi. I've been learning to drive with this company for just over a year and found Mandy my instructor was patient, encouraging and fun to learn from. She adapted her teaching style to accommodate my dyslexia and nerves and helped me manage to get over my self-esteem struggles. I passed my theory test and driving tests on the second attempts. This has boasted my confidence. Mandy had taught me not just how to drive but how to drive well and be a polite, aware and assured driver. I look forward to the freedom this brings me as well as the opportunities to support friends in this way. It's opened up so many doors and I'm so glad I went through this learning with Mandy and BDS. Thankyou also to the office team who helped with the process of getting tests etc. Best wishes for all future learners.

Absolutely brilliant experience, clear instruction, nice manner but most importantly made me feel confident in my own decisions. 10/10 would recommend to anybody! Mandy is a brilliant teacher!

Mandy gets a special shout out though as I really enjoyed my lessons with her and I feel like she's helped me to understand how to be a better driver. I've struggled tremendously with driving anxiety and I feel like she really helped me to control it and feel more at ease. She's patient and easy to get on with and I liked having a female instructor.

I would say a big thankyou to Mandy my driving instructor. She has been so patient and always come up with remedies to help me get through my driving lesson. Nothing was to much bother for her she helped me start to finish and got me to pass my driving test can not thank her enough. I would highly recommend DBS driving school one of the best I have been with and I've been with a few.

I have taken the 10 hour intensive course with Mandy and have to say she is, by far, the best instructor I have had, She helped me understand the roads and helped me get where I needed to be to pass. I just wanted to leave a review for Mandy. I really can’t thank Mandy enough for everything she did for me during my lessons with her, leading me to passing my test. I was incredibly anxious to learn to drive after a bad experience with another company but Mandy put me at total ease straight away. She has such a way of teaching that it just sticks and when it doesn’t she finds another way to explain it. Mandy really treats you and your needs individually and never makes you feel silly regardless of how many times she has to remind you of things or go over things. I felt so comfortable and enjoyed my time learning with Mandy. I really thought after giving up 7 years ago, I’d never go back to it so I really cannot say thank you enough. Thank you so much Mandy, you are an amazing instructor!

I had a 15 hour intensive course with Mandy Kerr and I passed with 6 faults. Mandy was an incredible instructor who knew what to do and doing it in good time. I managed to fit everything that I needed to cover in the 15 hours and I couldn’t have been any happier with the result! Very patient and clear with explaining and was pleasant company

After several unsuccessful years of learning to drive and failed tests , I thought I would never learn to drive and almost gave up trying. Then I was recommended by a friend to try BDS Driving School, and it's the been the best experience. I really enjoyed my lessons because my instructor Mandy Kerr was incredibly patient , and thoughtful with my personal learning ability, and just such a calming presence. I learnt so much from her without even realising it and it all came in so useful when I took my test and passed at the Grand age of 62. Thank you to all the team at BDS too, for keeping me updated as soon as a test was available. I couldn't have asked for better care. I'm so incredibly grateful that BDS Driving School was recommended to me and so happy to at last be a bonafida driver 😁 Anyone wanting to learn to drive, you can do no better than BDS Driving School. I found it a truly great experience.

I booked a driving course with Mandy Kerr. She was incredible. Very patient taught me so much. Went above and beyond and put me at ease. (which isn't easy to do) She is brilliant at being adaptable when it comes to teaching and as a Learning and Development Practitioner I know how much of a valuable skill that flexibility is. I passed my test yesterday morning 21st Oct 23. My driving instructor was Mandy Kerr, being 61 years old I won't say I found it easy, as I didn't. Mandy has the patience of a saint, at times I lacked confidence and did not believe in myself but Mandy was always positive. Mandy helped me to believe in myself and helped me to gain confidence. She never gave up once she kept telling me you can do this. Mandy is very friendly, has a great personality as well as being very professional and makes you feel at ease. She explains things to you in an easy way. I don't think I would have passed without Mandy spurring me on and telling me I can do it.... So a big thank you to you Mandy

Mandy was a very patient instructor and I learned a lot of skills driving wise from her. She is very good and her explanation on every manoeuvres are really good and handy. Thanks Mandy!

My experience with Mandy was the best. She made everything so easily understandable. She had mnemonics for everything with a great sense of humour making my lessons every bit worth it. I’m so glad I passed on my first try. Thank you again Mandy.
